Turkish Sajdak with Leather Appliqué

This sajdak is crafted based on the preserved Turkish or Tatar sajdak from the early 17th century found in the collection of Dresden's "Türkische Kammer." The original sajdak was adorned with intricate leather appliqué on the skin with colorful leather inlays. We've nearly entirely reproduced this appliqué, replacing only the leather inlays with paint.
